The Late Apostle Floyd E. Nelson Sr. / Bishop Floyd E. Nelson Jr.
Bishop Floyd E. Nelson Jr., an excellent teacher who conveys biblical truth uniquely, relevant, and often in a humorous way. His call to ministry began under his father, the late and Honorable Apostle Floyd E. Nelson, Sr. Apostle Nelson, the founder and pastor of Lively Stone Worship Center, passed the mantle to his son. Under his leadership, Bishop Nelson received the revelation to amend the church's name to Kingdom Harvest Ministries.
With over twenty years of ministry experience and ten years as a pastor, this enthusiastic trail-blazer would also become the senior leader at Gospel Ark Temple, located in Washington, D.C., in 2016. His top priority is for Gospel Ark to be a holistic ministry where the total person is ministered to mind, body, and soul. This assignment has enabled his commitment to see lives transformed to fulfill the Great Commission (Luke 10:2; Matthew 28:18-20) and moved beyond religion and into a relationship with God. His service to the United States Navy developed a high sensitivity for order that encourages one mindset; Kingdom work performed in the Spirit of Excellence.
Bishop Nelson is married to the former Christal D. Livingston.
